WACHA explores the resilience and beauty of the Sonoran Desert, drawing inspiration from the spiny zacate del monte plant and the Sonoran saying “wacha,” a constant call for attention. Also inspired by the American expression “watch out,” this exhibition merges nature and culture through jewelry and ceramic pieces that celebrate hidden life and strength in the arid landscape.
